Detection and monitoring of all cancers with DITI relies on the body’s sympathetic response to the pathology. Early stage cell changes generally produce heat and vascular patterns caused by angiogenesis. Later stage pathologies that have become ‘structural’ or dense enough to displace the normally perfuse surrounding tissue will show as locally cool areas.
